Little Haven and Broad Haven are two separate beaches a short drive from Marloes. They are both accessible from the road rather than a cliff path and you can walk from one beach to the other at low tide. Broad Haven is the larger of the two and is a wide sandy beach suitable for windsurfing. Both villages have a good selection of pubs and shops. The beaches face west and make a good place for fish and chips or pub meal while watching the sun set! Broad Haven is classified as a Blue Flag Beach. Blue Flags are awarded to bathing beaches which meet guideline water quality standards plus 25 other criteria including dog controls and public toilets. It is a standard that applies through out Europe and has become a symbol of quality beaches.
